Mr Dan Kwaku Botwe, the Member of Parliament for Okere Constituency, has urged supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to campaign on issues that would convince the electorate to vote for change on December 7.
He said the NPP had the track record of implementing policies that were beneficial to all classes of people, especially the ordinary Ghanaian, therefore, the party members and supporters must engage the electorate on these issues, which would attract massive votes for the Party.
Addressing a rally at Adukrom, to begin the five-day tour of the flag bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in the Eastern Region, Mr Botwe said it was only when the electorate understood the issues and they were convinced that they would embrace a change from the NDC to the NPP.
He mentioned the ‘One District, One Factory policy, Free SHS Education, among other proposals in the Party’s Manifesto , saying that they NPP was committed to implementing holistic programmes to improve the lots of Ghanaians.
Mr Botwe said it was important to make the electorate understand that the NPP meant well for Ghana, their laudable proposals were feasible; and they would impact positively on their lives.
“The NPP, led by its flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, will not disappoint Ghanaians on their promises to better manage the affairs of this nation to improve the living standards of all Ghanaians,” he said.
The two-time MP for Okere, who is vying for the third-time, and a former General Secretary of the NPP, said despite his track record of providing significant developmental projects, the NPP must win power for him to fully realise the vision he had for Okere.
The MP expressed the hope that the massive turnout at the rally would translate to votes for him and the flag bearer and it would be replicated in the other constituencies where the flagbearer had been warmly received.

Dan. You are correct. your policies need to be explained because your 2016 manifesto is so shallow. Apart from building a new accident trauma center in takoradi no clear cut policy on health. Upgrade and construct pre schools Nation Wide was the only clear cut policy on education. On sports yes. you have clear plan to build stadia in Wa,Bolga,Ho,Koforidua & Sunyani and also complete the Legoon Stadium. On roads.Expand and improve road network. While closing the missing links in the network & Tar Gravel roads. Especially in high agricaltural production and tourism areas finish. That is it. that is the policy on roads. Build air transport infrastructure that is all on air Aviation.Improve access to decent homes for all Ghanaians, Develop housing units targeted at vunerable and miginalized in society, Improve quality of infastructure in existing communities, facilitate the contruction of high -density,quality,social,low, mid-income housing over short, meduim and long term. that is your policy on housing. Sink 25000 bore holes in small towns and rural areas & 300 small water systems in small towns and rural areas is your clear cut policy on water. New Power Projects & 10 Years Power Plan that is all your manifesto captured on power. That goes into those power project and 10 Years Power need to be explained because we need to know your policy on power.
@ YAW,,, YOU HAVE SAID IT ALL..... YOUR AEGIS ARE APT IN RESPONSE TO DAN BOTWE'S CALL,,, BUT LET ME ALSO ASK IF NANA ADDO HIMSELF UNDERSTAND THOSE POLICIES... BECAUSE I HARDLY HEAR HIM CAMPAIGN ON TH9OSE. SO HOW MUCH MORE HIS SUPPORTERS.. BESIDES,,, THOSE SOCIAL INTERVENTIONS THEY CALL POLICIES ARE JUST STOP GAP INITIATIVES TO CIRCUMVENT AN INHERENT PROBLEMS.,, AND THE SOCIAL DEMOCRATS DOES NOT SEE THEM AS SOLUTIONS... A TYPICAL CASE SCENARIO IS THE NHIS, FREE SHS ETC... THEY ARE NOT SOLUTIONS... BUT ARE DEEMED NECESSARY AT THAT PARTICULAR POINT IN TIME... THAT IS WHY WE CALL THEM INTERVENTIONS.. BUT THE REAL SOLUTIONS TO THOSE DEBILITATING PROBLEMS ARE THE INFRASTRUCTURE. WHICH AS A SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC PARTY SHOULD BE A MATTER OF UTMOST PRIORITY. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT JDM IS DOING... NOW THEY ARE SHOUTING,,, ALL IS COLLAPSING. BUT WHY WONT IT?? WHEN THEY DECIDE TO PUT THE CART BEFORE THE HORSE. AS FOR DAN BOTWE,, I KNOW HE KNOWS THIS,, BUT HE IS JUST BEING INTELLECTUALLY DISHONEST. BUT FOR NANA ADDO AND HIS SUPPORTER,,, I DOUBT.
POLICIES??? WHAT POLICIES? THE SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC POLICIES??? THE NDC IS ALREADY RENDERING THOSE SERVICES YOU CALL POLICIES. GO HOME, THINK IT OVER AND COME AGAIN. LOSERS.
Your NPP does not have any realistic policy to be explained hence your guys can't explain. Your manifesto is full of unrealistic dams and factories and free free things including removing nearly all taxes making it difficult for any good thinking person to comprehend. Many well thinking Ghanaians already know you will crumble Ghana economy in only 3 months if mistakenly you grasp power. Dan Botwey you can go round and explain the indefensible policies yourself. We all saw how Nana Ado struggled with Alan Kyeremanteng to answer simple questions on their proposed tax cuts and the free free industries and well as dam.
