Former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi has said the NDC has changed its image from a party with a violent and revolutionary background to a party that believes in peace and the rule of law.
He made this statement in Accra when the Chief of Staff and his campaign team met the clergy to explain the party's manifesto to them.
According to Prof. Ahwoi, the governance strategy of the NDC has also changed.
He said the 2016 election is a choice between progress and retrogression and therefore asked the electorates to vote for the NDC for progress.
The Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah also stated that campaigning for electoral votes should not bring about fighting.
He noted that the campaigns should be tailored to educate the public to understand the strategies and policies of each political party to develop the country when voted into power.
Members of the Clergy who contributed to the discussion commended the party (NDC) for meeting them ahead of the election and stressed the need for peace during the election.

BY THEIR FRUITS, WE SHALL KNOW THEM. THE LION SAYS IT HAS STOPPED EATING MEAT, WHAT WILL IT BE EATING? CAN THE LEOPARD CHANGE ITS SPOT?
DID YOU EVER AGREE THAT NDC WAS A VIOLENT PARTY. YOU ALWAYS DEFENDED THE VIOLENCE OF NDCE AND BLAME OTHERS FOR HAVING STATRTED ANY VIOLENCE THEY HAD. IS NOT ADC DOING THE SAME TODAY. ADURO AKYE WO. YOU HAVE NOT SAID ANY THING YET.
Ah grey haired man what do you take us for, fooools? Heard you telling the clergy to tell congregants to vote for ndc. Do you wise old man vote based on what a pastor tells you? Old desperado for your information, no pastor feeds my family neither does a pastor pays my kids school fees. My rent is due and I am not depending on any pastor for that provision. You're always planning evil. Even in your old age you mastermind disturbance in your opponents camp to use as camp msg shame! Well, it backfired badly, because that won't pay my bills. Business is bad under your incompetent watch so we will vote you out for competent hands
HOW CAN THE NDC'S IMAGE CHANGE? IT'S IN THEIR BLOOD.ENVY,NEPOTISIM,HATRED,AND EVIL DEEDS.IS IT NOT RECENTLY THAT A BROTHER OF AN NDC MINISTER IS BRAGGING OF KILLING PEOPLE? AND WHAT IS THE IGP DOING NOTHING ALL BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL OF THE SAME FEATHERS IN THEIR VIOLENT DISPOSITIONS.IF IT HAD BEEN IN ANY CIVILIZED COUNTRY,THIS BABA MAN WOULD HAVE BEEN IN JAIL BY NOW PENDING INVESTIGATIONS BUT HERE IN GHANA MAHAMA AND HIS COHORTS ARE PORTRAYED LIKE gOGS AND ARE IMMUNE FROM ALL CRIMINALITIES.LIKE THE SAYING GOES,TIME WILL TELL.
Of course the image of the NDC has undergone a tremendous transformation over the years. From an amalgamation of all that is unholy to a well oiled machinery for rigging and stealing. This wretch was among the washed out nonentities who hid behind a screen and sentenced people to 200 years imprisonment and death. All for what?Tsatsu Tsikata at that time wore sandals made from car tyre and obviously he used it also as a bathroom slippers.Today? All these so called socialists are multi millionaires. That includes the man who brought all these calamities onto Ghana. Jerry Rawlings. If there is a God in heaven all these mother f*ckers should face what they made others face without fair trial.
Peace and rule of law ?? Prof come again
Tweeeeeaaaaaaaaaa kai
The wisemen are listening to your exposition and being advised. Do not mind the vulgar serial contributors on this panel. We shall vote for continuity not retrogression. We are moving forward. JM toasoooo!
Is anybody listening to this man who has suddenly developed no-neck syndrome over the course of the last 30years? Lmao
Tell them to understand politics. NDC all the way.
