One promise, One minister
Please note that all these ministers will have V8 with salary. This is indirect sharing of state money.
Hmmmmm Nana please why all these plenty new ministries. You accused Ex President Mahama of create loot and share. Now you have created and put them under the office of the Presidents. Yooo we r watching. What ever a man sows so shall he reap.
The Presidential recent nominations and the nominations previously made is a clear statement of his determination to honour the campaign promises. Though HE the President Nana Akufo -Addo has assured the nation in his inaugural speech that he will protect the public purse we will want to see the practical implementation of this statement by constant checking of this yet to be ministers when they finally assume office. Your HE. Mr President, your decisions so far after 5 days of being in office has been very wise. We will be looking for excellence in every decision you make so that teeming people of this country benefit from the national purse.
Next to come, are the 10 Regional Ministers. That will end the list of substantive ministers. Once they have been vetted, their respective deputies will follow. I am very sure that the newly created ministries will not have deputy ministers. Example, Inner Cities & Zongo Development is an example of ministries that will no have deputies.
36 and still counting. Change has really Come
Before you get up and brand someone as being a shameful president, perhaps you should learn to write coherent sentences in proper English. And please oo, can you show us where NPP people have killed Ghanaians? Show where Nana plagiarized five presidents. Provide evidence to show that the appointments are unintelligent. Even with the th*ie*very and inc*o*mpetence of Mahama, you still liked him. So you don't have any moral right to criticize
THIS IS A VERY WISE MOVE BY PRESIDENT AKKUFO ADDO. THE NEW APPOINTMENTS WITH THEIR OFFICES AT THE PRESIDENCY WOULD INCUR A VERY LITTLE COST TO THE NATION. AT THE SAME TIME THIS NEW MOVE WOULD PROVIDE THE PRESIDENT MANY ABLE MEN AND WOMEN TO ASSIST IN THE GOVERNANCE OF THE NATION. THIS WILL ENSURE CLOSE MONITORING AND SUPERVISION FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GOVERNMENT POLICIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY. THE PRESIDENT WOULD HAVE MANY HANDS AROUND HIM TO WORK WITH THEM AS A TEAM. THIS WILL HELP TO ENSURE A RICH DECISION AND ACTION OF THE EXECUTIVES FOR THE GOOD OF THE NATION. THE PEOPLE APPOINTED TO SURROUND THE PRESIDENT ARE ALL ABLE MEN AND WOMEN OF INTEGRITY, SOLID CHARACTER AND VERY EXPERIENCED IN MANY AREAS OF LIFE. THEY WOULD PRACTICALLY UNDERSTAND THE FUNCTIONS OF ALL THE MINISTRIES AND WOULD OFFER THE PRESIDENT THE NEEDED ADVICE TO EXERT TOTAL CONTROL OVER THE WORKS OF ALL THE MINISTRIES. IT LOOKS LIKE GHANA IS GEARED TOWARD THE BEST GOVERNMENT IT ITS HISTORY.POP
Please listen to the explanations for each and every one of the newly created ministry before you comment. At least for the first time, Ghanaian are told the reason for establishing every ministry. If the vision for the establishments are not achieved, then the heat will be on them. Remember, the newly created ministers will work under the Presidency directly and would be funded from the office of the President's budget and not a stand alone ministries
