Former Deputy Power Minister, John Jinapor has advised the current administration not to engage in any blame games.
Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, John Jinapor noted that Ghanaians voted for a new government because they have confidence in President Nana Akufo-Addo
According to him, this is not the period for the government to seek equalization.
John Jinapor, who was addressing some salient issues on the programme, wished President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Ministerial nominees, particularly his brother Abu Jinapor who was named Deputy Chief of Staff; well but hoped they would deliver on their pledges to the citizenry.
To him, President Nana Akufo-Addo's government outlined some developmental projects that would be undertaken under his regime and so he expects the government to concentrate on fulfilling its promises to the people of Ghana.
“This is not the period for blame game. If we were still in the campaign season, you could then sit here and do the blame game. This is not the period for equalization. We’ve voted for you. We’ve given you the power. We’ve said we wish you all the best. You’ve promised us and we’re saying you should work hard to fulfill the promises to help Ghana.”
He however stressed that though the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is at the opposition bench, the party will monitor every initiative by the current administration.
“We’re still firm on the ground. We will support this party. We’ll work hard and be vigilant on you,” he said.

I really admire your family, John. You are in ndc, Samuel in npp and I hear one of your siblings is in the cpp. That is a smart move. At least one of you will definitely be in power. Congrats John, but please don't stress yourself as Sammy will bring you a back pass.
YOU ARE SICK.
We, we, we, who are the we? Those of us who voted for them will hold them accountable.
It is nit those who commit acts of atrocities who are the bad people but rather those who remained silent looked on while the atrocities went on who are really wicked. Where was John Jinapr when the NDC atrocities were being committed? When so called Ga youth insulted Kuffour and refused him is due? Their leader Prince Derrick Adjei was rewarded for his evil deeds by the president with an appointment.Where was Jinapr when NPP caterers where chased out of school feeding program mes? WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.
They are now coming back on kokrokoo.
