Ghanaians need leaders who are doers to right their wrongs, fix their problems and lead them to the light of the new dawn, business mogul Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom has said.
According to him, Ghanaians are tired of listening to and reading about hope when they face senseless deaths on their roads, in their hospitals and homes and when politically clothed groups act with impunity, and when their farms and rivers are destroyed.
To this end, the 2016 flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) urged leaders of the country to be doers as Jesus Christ was as they celebrate the Easter festivities.
In his Easter message to Ghanaians, Dr Nduom said: “The Easter season is upon us again, Christians and non-Christians alike. Some words will be repeated all over the world by religious leaders, politicians, friends and family – ‘new beginning’, ‘renewal’, ‘fresh start’, etc. Some nations will be asked to give peace a chance. People will be asked to give a little to feed the poor. In Kwahu, some people will just want to give fun another chance, and will try very hard to play hard all in the name of Easter.
“So this Easter I am listening and reading. But the people are tired of listening to and reading about hope when we face senseless deaths on our roads, in our hospitals and homes; when politically clothed groups act with impunity; and when our farms and rivers are destroyed.
“All we need are few doers to right our wrongs, fix our problems and lead us to the light of the new dawn. Jesus was a doer. Happy Easter!”
Easter is celebrated by Christians to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who they believe to be the son of God. According to Christians, the resurrection of Jesus Christ brings salvation to the world.

The real crooks are nppigs. They are real thievess and hypocrites. Your claim about what nppig has achieved is a mere wishful thinking to foool the gullible. Even your old patapaa akuffo addo himself has never claim such achievement. So continue to tickle yourself and laugh. For your information, all floating voters who made it possible for nppig to win power have regretted voting for that old foool.
