It is unfortunate, but it seems that is what the constitution wants. You see, when you write a skewed constitution in favour of a person or party and forget that times will change, this is what happens. the fact that the position is vacate and has to be filled simply means the ex government also caused someone appointed to that position to vacate so they also appoint their favorite. And now another government has come and the president to must appoint new people. Are we suggesting that, God forbid NDC comes back to power in 2020 they will leave the people who now being appointed to these positions to continue to work or will they appoint known NPP persons there? It is not the best, but that is what the skewed constitution allows. So let's forget the insults and attack the bad constitutional provisions.
this dwarf ritualist akufo addo will appoint any ***barred word*** at all to occupy position in Ghana. Ooooh! mother Ghana, why did give these ***barred word*** children of yours to be destroying your name? galamsey was going on behind okyehene palace where water bodies ,cocoa farms and farm lands were been destroyed over more than 70 years but these lazy and ***barred word*** akyems including akufo addo and osafo marfo were siting down doing nothing. what a ***barred word*** tribe in ghana.
Am sorry to say this but it looks like most of the comments about Frances are out of ignorance because if Akuffo Addo his excellency is to appoint a non political person he will be removed immediately is party is out of power.. The person occupying this position before this current appointment was a political appointee.. so what is everybody talking about.. If you want us to discuss certain positions in this country then we can talk about it..Besides this lady has suffered for both NDC and NPP so for me personally am happy for her even though I dont know her personally.
HMMMMM THIS LADY AGAIN. I KNOW SHE SMOKES A LOT AND ALSO DRINKS STONG DRINKS. WHERE SHE IS GOING SHE MUST REDUCE IT. NO BODY SHOULD PROVIDE HER WITH ASH TRAYS. THIS IS A POLITICAL APPOINTMENT OTHERWISE SHE WONT BE THERE.
I agree with all of you but not to insult anybody. Ghana is suffering because of political appointments to all public offices. So those competent Ghanaians who cannot go into open politics cannot serve their country even though they are capable and competent?
mahamma did not listen to advise with regards to political appointments and akuffo addo is doing the same shiiiiiit and talking ***barred word***. the future of ghana depends on ghanaians and not political parties. there are former ambassadors who took salute on independence day for their salary. are we serious as a nation. appointments must be on merit and performance and not limited to just party membership
I do not doubt the competence of this lady but my problem is if positions of authority are politicized by npp and ndc it will lead to low moral and low productivity. that is one of the reasons why ghana is not developing. people of substance with qualified background should be appointed to certain positions. if political parties want to politicize positions then it should go with electoral votes. my question to ndc is how many votes did the smith brothers bring to the party after being appointed as ambassadors? the answer is zero mp.what were their performance as ambassadors? political appointment should be limited to dce and mce. Political parties are contributing to low productivity in ghana and this must stop
Me too, ooo. But for your name...
I'm very happy for this lady I know how she suffered through ups and down in political parties, when NPP won all I said is here final have count down may God bless her for the position I don't even know her but happy for her because she has struggle a lot this is reason I am happy for her
