The NDC Member of Parliament for Adaklu constituency in the Volta Region, Kwame Governs Agbodza, claims the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo knows her husband lied to Ghanaians to win power in the 2016 elections.
According to him he is sure the President's wife didn’t believe him when he (Nana Addo) made some of his outrageous campaign promises.
President Nana Akufo-Addo while addressing members of the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs in Wa on the first day of his seven-day tour of the Upper West, Upper East and Northern Regions, said he did not lie to win power and that he would deliver on all the promises he made during the 2016 election campaign period to demonstrate that not all politicians make promises just for purposes of gaining political votes.
But contributing to discussions on TV3's 'New Day' Morning show on Wednesday, the Adaklu legislator said “I am yet to see one single promise the NPP gave that religiously they have delivered”.
“By now all utility tariffs should be down by their penchant of reducing it. Fuel should have been down by now because it was a major campaign promise. They promised fighting corruption”, he said.
The Ranking Member of the Roads and Transport Committee also said “the [President] can sit at the comfort of his office and lie that Ghanaians believe him. Where is Bawumia today? See where the cedi is going? I am sure even your wife didn’t believe you if you say you did not lie for votes”.
“Who put a gun on the head of the NPP to make those promises. Why didn’t you go to Ghanaians and apologize that I promised to do this but I am not able to do it?” he sought to know.

I can't ever imagine my self voting for NDC!! Even my ghost will not vote NDC!! This good for nothing party, who come to create , luut and share. I am happy I was not in Ghana when NDC came to power in 2001. I can't see my self being ruled by NDC govt. I am now enlightened. They dont have the interest of the masses at heart. May they remain in opposition forever!!
Ghanaians voted 53.8% for the lies of NPP as against 44.4% for the so-called truths of NDC. If you have a problem with that, go burn the sea..MTCHEEEEEEWWWW
Who said all the promises were to be delivered in the first year of coming into power. I have seen that NDC are really suferring fron kpokpogbligbli
FUULISSH MAN YOU THINK GHANAIANS ARE FUULS RIGHT?
So my fellow (from one region) The NDC Member of Parliament for Adaklu constituency in the Volta Region, Kwame Governs Agbodza, think Ghanaians DO NOT reason and that we VOTED for NPP on lies we were told. If this is what he is thinking, what about when we Ghanaians VOTED for them from 2008 to 2016? When all the Social Interventions the previous NPP (Kufour) brought were all collapsed during their 8 years rule. Every years after year the President, JDM will tell Ghanaians that FOUNDATION is being laid. But still Debt upon debt were confronting the Nation. We were told that WE WILL PAY HEALTH INSURANCE ONE AND FOR ALL where there will be not RENEWALS. Cancellation of Teachers and Nurses Allowances, Graduate Nurses were staying at home. As at NOW these Graduate Nurses have been employed within these 9 months. Theachers and Nurses Allowances installed again. Free SHS has come to stay. This too has helped my family from the remote of my region. Which two (2) Girls were able to enter Accra Girls. Who born DOG and someone from such a place and parents will dream to sent their ward to such schools even if the means is there. Ghanaians will NOT buy your propaganda these days going. Even if there to be elections TODAY at your Adaklu constituency, you will LOOSE your seat to Parliament. By the time 2020 arrives, more seats will be lost by the opposition in our region.
