President Akufo-Addo has challenged those accusing his appointees of being corrupt to prove with incontrovertible evidence.
He said a year on, it has become evident that none of his appointees is corrupt in spite of machinations to prove otherwise.
Addressing Parliament in his second State of the Nations Address Thursday, President Akufo- Addo said he is elated about the conduct of his appointees.
“It is important to note that, in my first year of office, despite having a clear parliamentary majority, two separate bi-partisan probes in Parliament have been established to inquire into allegations of corruption, as against zero in recent years, notwithstanding the persistent calls by the then Minority over several allegations”.
“So far, every single alleged act of corruption leveled against any of my appointees has been investigated by independent bodies, and, in some cases, by Parliament itself, and the findings made public.
In furtherance of these principles, I have made it publicly known that anyone, who has information about acts of corruption by any of my appointees, should bring it forward, and should be prepared to back it up with evidence, for I will have it investigated” President Akufo-Addo dared.

This mark the beginning of Akufo Addo downfall. You want someone to tell you the ***barred word*** in your house ? I wasted my time and vote for nothing.
Mr President, please some of your so called trusted ministers are corrupt. I challenge you to personally find out how the forestry commission Board was formed. Check if there is a representative of the people in the wildlife trade and industry on the board as required by Law. Your trusted minister refused to allow their representation on the board, and he forced someone who is not even in the trade on them. Ask the wildlife Division if they even know that person. This is Amenu's board. Not Forestry Board. Its an illegality. Investigate it and prove us wrong. Am with forestry and I know what is going on.
When you start hearing such flips from the Head, it tells you something not right is going on. When you shouted on roof tops that the previous administration was corrupt, did you provide an iota of evidence? And calls himself a lawyer! Indeed. He says such things because they know the judiciary is in their pockets. It is only with time and the scales will fall for everyone to see clearly!
