Former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko has been advised not to accept any position in the Akufo-Addo led administration.
Any decision to accept another position after he was sacked will make him [Agyarko] a laughing stock.
Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kenneday Agyapong gave the advice on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday.
Mr. Agyarko lost his job following his involvement in the renegotiation of the controversial AMERI power deal.
Though a statement signed by Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin did not state why he was relieved of his post, many are certain the AMERI deal was the reason.
It has also been alleged that, Boakye Agyarko’s dismissal was after the President was allegedly misled into approving the new AMERI deal which had been rejected by Parliament through an Executive Order.
But Ken Agyapong stated unequivocally that, some ministers plotted Mr.Agyarko’s removal.
“I know all those gossips at the presidency and ministers who planned Agyarko’s sack. I will mention all their names at the right time” he fumed.
The Assin Central MP revealed that, President came under intense pressure to sack Mr. Agyarko.
“Akufo-Addo is a very nice person but he is a humanbeing so when he comes under pressure, the man is forced to react” he opined.
He could not fathom why some NPP members will move heaven on earth to get a very smart person like Boakye Agyarko out of government.
“It is well because I know President Akufo-Addo is also brilliant but I will advise Boakye Agyarko not to accept any post in government” he stated.
Ken Agyapong added that, Mr. Agyarko can serve Ghana in any capacity but certainly not as a minister.

I think that it is important that someone calls the bluff of this illiterate MP.This oaf has something to say about everybody.First it was Anas, then Kweku Baako. then the former Chief Justice. Why does this man have nothing to do?Can Agyarko not speak for himself? He was on radio touting the invincibility of The former BOST boss and threatening fire and brimstone if anyone touched him. Since his sack what has been able to do?The president is an intelligent ,astute politician. He has groomed himself many years for this designation and will not just listen to gossip and based on that sack a supposedly hard working minister.
Did you actually write "God help Ghana"? Please ooo leave Ghana out of this and ask Him to help the NPP!!! NPP -----The Naysayers..........please spare us!!!
So no one in NPP can call Ken Agyapong to order. Am really surprised ooooo. A great party, full of intellects, having problem with one loud mouth. He claim to know everything in the party.and decides to use the media to insult party leadership regardless of party structures. Even ndc will not condo that unwarranted behavior. GOD HELP GHANA
Ken don't deceive yourself into thinking that richness means wisdom. Agyarko knows what is right for him and he is more knowledgeable than you. money is not everything.
Kennedy Agyapong 'wokasa' aba!!!!
I know for a fact that Nana Addo is not in control. Gabby is the president and Osafo Marfo is the vice president.. My party NPP is in deep crises
Some of us are gradually becoming fed up with Nana listens to gossips against those men who stood vehemently with him during hard times. Otiko and Boakye Agyako have not been treated well and I sense those can gossip the more and going to benefit the more under Nana.
When you dig a pit for someone to fall in Never you forget that you may dig it first...… You can never eat your cake and have it. Disgraceful Man.You see how NPP MADE YOU?Full of shame.
Agyarko is not that smart for spearheading such an idiotic negotiations. Very embarrassing. Bow tie wearing people are full of themselves and this is what caused his downfall.
