“Former President John Kufuor gave Foase district capital, John Mahama came to be president of Ghana but he and his government didn’t make an attempt to remove the district. Nana Addo and his NPP came to power and due to their selfish interest they want to remove the district capital. Look at what has happened. Innocent souls have been lost. We have regretted voting for Akufo-Addo. 2020 we will show Nana Addo and vote for Mahama” they said.

It's sad. One life lost is more than anything, Sympathy for the family of those guys. But,can they do what they are saying?Illiteracy is a big disease. We thank God Nana Addo brought free education. They should attend school to develop their brains. I challenge them they don't have the guts. If they try, they will be faced with brutal force. There is a rumour that some people are waiting for such opportunity to create chaos and confusion in the country because they will be caged at Ghana prisons. Their plan won't work so those villagers must be careful
Sad for the lives lost, but what impunity. People speak like they are gods. Don't forget that this empty threat in from the fact that others have been shot dead. How many stones can you throw?
sad but who told these ple their votes count anyway. bcos if it does mahama wouldnt have made the decision again after that lost. ur votes dont count. its all about blood sacrifice among the tow parties. if u doubt me ask Kufour what he told nana to do in other to win an election. these ple killed may be part of the sacrifice but i cant say who among the two parties have those blood. i will advise u to pelt any politician that comes there to campaign bcos u dont know who is behind the deaths. be wise.
THERE ARE LAWS IN GHANA. IF YOU FALL AFOUL OF THE LAW YOU SHALL BE ARRESTED AND DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY. BE ADVISED!
Hear the villagers. How about the people of Twedie don't you people know that their turnout will be massive? It's unfortunate that lives were lost due to the negligence of the law enforcement agents. I don't blame them to the core some villagers are too barbaric and the only means to 'tame' them is the use of force.
What happened is sad and regrettable but please the moment you bring in a political twist, you lose sympathy. You may vote against the NPP but you will be voting against your own selves in essence if you want an incompetent NDC to govern you because of your pain. Those who got the Capital will of course be happy to vote for Nana Addo. That is what democracy is all about.... vested interest, Haven't said all that, the police should not have shot into the crowd to kill those guys. One would have thought that crowd control cock ups will be a thing of the past. You dont shoot into a crowd with live bullets to scare peolple. Isn't this basic..???
