Former President John Dramani Mahama has urged Muslims across the country to pray for the safety, progress and prosperity of Ghana as they begin their 30-day fast today, Monday, 6 May 2019.
In a Facebook post, the flag bearer of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) said: “With the start of the 2019 holy month of Ramadan, I wish to extend my warmest felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters as they begin the 30-day fast.
“Ramadan is a month of self-denial, dedication to the will of Allah and personal spiritual and moral growth for all who go through the ritual of the fast. Ramadan is a month of peace and love. Let this be manifest in our lives in this holy month and beyond.
“As you go through this period of Ramadan, I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to offer supplications to Allah for the safety, progress and prosperity of our dear nation.

Well I have had lots of challenge understanding Isaac Owusu Bempa, i only want him to know that NPP will not remain on the seat for ever no matter what prophet he is. because there are more than 7000 prophets in the land who are less, equal and more than him. if you know where the kids are and you feel comfortable to see their families wailing then i don't know how you are apply the gift of God on your life. is the gift not for the edification of the Church. well, remember the gifts and the callings of God are without repentance and you will be accountable for every gift God has given you so no sweat kuraaa. We pay the IGP so we expect much from him. if you think the IGP is suppose to be a prophet to see these things before he's given that position then apply for it so you can reduce crime rate in the country. i wish you will read this and take some advice from you spiritual fathers in the land. aaabba. in the last day you will stand side by side with prophet Elijah and you compare your works and his works and find out which of you deserve a reward. please stop this noise and be a minister of the Gospel.
We have regreted bringing this government. more poverty, more hunger, more unemployment, more business collapse, more and worst dumso ever, more struggle, more price escalate, more corruption tickle yourselves and laugh, you will soon return to the forest.
