"I am afraid for what lies ahead for the Ghanaian people because our president does not respect the rule of law; he’s a tyrant," says Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George.
He was reacting to government's white paper on Justice Emile Short's Commission report.
Listen to him in the video below
The Emile Short Commission which probed the electoral violence recommended the criminal prosecution of a national security operative; Mohammed Sulemana for slapping Sam George.
But the ruling government in a White Paper on the Commission's report has argued that prosecution was not necessary because the facts presented by the Commission supported “a valid defence of provocation for the said assault by the national security operative.
However, a press statement signed and issued by Sam George on Thursday said the government’s rejection of some of the findings of the Emile Short Commission did not surprise him.
He quoted Psalm 109:8b, saying he could only resort to scripture and pray for President Akufo-Addo.

unemployed lawyers are finding their way into the honorable house. grow up.
ANITA DE SOUSA RAN HER CAR OVER HUMANS LIKE SAND WHAT DID YOU AND YOUR NDC DO ? WHAT ABOUT CHEREPONI TOO ?
ITS ONLY THE NDC WHO WILL VOTE FOR TO ELECT THIS THING AS A MP. OTWEE SEI!
This Short commission is bogus. They didn’t bring out the facts as we saw on tv. This guy nearly brought confusion into this country by claiming two people have been shot and it turned out to be a lie. Most people in this country are afraid of NDC and they get away with criminal things they do. In any serious country Sam George should be thrown out of parliament for using the word tyrant on the President and lying that two people have been shot. By the way what is the outcome of Ofosu Ampofo case? Oh Ghana;
No wonder you were slapped, infact he should given a dirty one for to loose your teeth. Where from this acidic mouth, you don’t deserve to be called honorable. Only v!llagers ( Nkurasifoo) will vote for you to represent them
You can quote scriptures and you looked straight into our faces to tell us Azorka Boys is a Community Based Organization and not a vigilante group? Some people we call honorables in this country hmmm.
I beg your pardon, Mr. Sam George!! He's so full of himself he thinks the whole world belongs to him. Did he use the Bible to 'curse' the President. O yes, read Psalm 109:8 (let his days be few, and let another take his office) to respond to the White Paper on AWW Report?. Seriously, Sam George??? You don't deserve the title Honorable. Yes, the person who slapped you made a terrible mistake and committed a crime in taking the law in his own hands as a security personnel, but for you to quote the Bible in response to a White Paper not indicting the officer, to say the least, hitting below the belt. Don't you have an elder in your house. You did same to Hon. ET Mensah and now you're doing this to the Head of State? No wonder Prez JJ Rawlings labeled the likes of your self in NDC as 'babies with sharp teeth'. And that's not something to be proud of. I'm so ashamed as a Ghanaian to have someone like you making laws for me. You don't deserve to be in parliament. No, you don't!!
May the Lord strike this d1$h0n$t 1m-b£c1le caricaturing as an MP. AAAH! Nana Addo a +yran+? Is this Ghana? How do we allow such j0k£R$ to be in parliament?
Then leave for your paradise. ***barred word*** just talking ***barred word***. You national liar without any shy.
Sam George rather pray for your Mahama and the NDC. Remember Mahama said when it comes to violence, the NDC is Champion.
