"I am afraid for what lies ahead for the Ghanaian people because our president does not respect the rule of law; he’s a tyrant," says Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George.
He was reacting to government's white paper on Justice Emile Short's Commission report.
Listen to him in the video below
The Emile Short Commission which probed the electoral violence recommended the criminal prosecution of a national security operative; Mohammed Sulemana for slapping Sam George.
But the ruling government in a White Paper on the Commission's report has argued that prosecution was not necessary because the facts presented by the Commission supported “a valid defence of provocation for the said assault by the national security operative.
However, a press statement signed and issued by Sam George on Thursday said the government’s rejection of some of the findings of the Emile Short Commission did not surprise him.
He quoted Psalm 109:8b, saying he could only resort to scripture and pray for President Akufo-Addo.

Even a crimimal political party like the smelly national destroyers company led by gay greedy murderers have ruled ghana, horrible goons!
What were you doing there that day? Were you a polling agent? Asem bisa keke Sometimes we bring things upon ourselves. This is not your constituency this is not your party stronghold even if the NDC had won it wouldn't have changed anything Buddy let this issue slide this is not the first time a white paper has been issued in this country. And trust me no government will expose its security apparatus. Kume Preko killers are still walking free
in the ndc characters like this MP are hailed and praised by jm and the party leaders its a shame
As our elders say, 'When you take your 'thumb' to a funeral, you are left with slaps'. Thats all. You cant dress like you are going into combat in a jungle during a civil election and be given soft words. The slaps were appropriately less. He should have being given more and a taste of rough life. Such a repugnant behaviour shouldn't be accepted. He brought it upon himself As an MP he should know better. But the govt should see inside small.
MR, YOU CAN LEAVE THE COUNTRY
A anokwa this asukonoma will use such harsh words for a 75 year old man but for politics.
Sam George should tell us what happen in AKWATIA in the ER when Dan Botwe and some NPP MPs was beaten
My Man stop wasting your time on Akufo Addo this, Akufo Addo that for it will not work. U and that Sammy Gyamfi are portraying some arrogant and disrespectful behavoiurs to the Presidency and the nation at large. Whether you like it or not Nana Ado is the President of Ghana and is ruling until we decide in the next election. Even those who vote for him are not complaining much like u who did not vote for him. Members in your party were insulting Ghanaians that if we think the country was too hot for us we could leave to other countries, and another was saying if you have not been a president before you cannot criticise me. That time you were very happy and your conscience was lost but now because of cheap politics you and your party are behaving like you are the only people who love Ghanaians.
When you have ***barred word***, empty headed and arrogant boys in Ghana parliament, that is what we Ghanaians should expect. Sam George behavior could ONLY be tolerated in Ghana under 1992 constitution, which was drafted to please JJ Rawlings and his military junta PNDC. How can a sitting member of parliament behave (life on TV) as this for the only reason that he is MACHO. GOD HELP GHANA
In fact, you were not slapped properly. You deserve a better slap than you had. I had some sympathy for you at first, but for your utterances and behavior, I have now understood the security officer. It is not all MPs who are honorable and you are one of them.
