Information reaching DGN Online indicates that the Deputy Energy Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has been elected as the Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Karaga constituency.
Dr. Amin Adam polled 385 votes whiles Alhassan Abdulai got four votes.
Affa Sule garnered two votes and Dr. Baba Sayuti managing 78 votes.
There was however three rejected votes in the Karaga constituency parliamentary primaries.
The Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mohammed Saaba , who confirmed the Karaga results, called on the loosing aspirants to support Dr. Anta to win the Karaga seat for the NPP come 2020.
