Nana Kofi Asihene of NKACC at the second edition of YFM’s #YDialogues shared his experiences with some of Ghana’s finest musicians including Sarkodie, Edem, R2Bees and more.
The creative entrepreneur responsible for Sarkodie’s rebranding about a year ago told his audience;
“I went to a show in Takoradi sometime ago and R2Bees were billed to perform. As soon as they hit the stage, some kids began to cry. I wondered why the kids were crying because this was just R2Bees. Before that, Atsu Koliko was on stage and the kids were asking who he was… All they wanted was for R2Bees to mount the stage and perform songs most of them might not even understand or relate could to.”
NKACC shot to fame after directing Bra Kevin’s Three Headed Beast. He is also responsible for Stonebwoy’s Pull Up and R2Bees’ Makoma visuals.
