There have been several reactions towards Vice President, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur on his recent comments about vertically challenged persons during one of the party's regional tours.
In what appeared like a sarcastic jab thrown at running mate of the opposition party, he is reported to have said short people need to be elevated in order to appreciate the achievements of his government.
The said comment, which doesn't seem to have gone down well with some Ghanaians and sympathizers of the NPP alike has caused a stir on several platforms.
Fast rising comedian, Emmanuel Nkansah Ansong popularly known in his circles as Lekzy DeComic has joined the bandwagon to express his utter dissatisfaction with the statement of the Vice President.
In the wake of the tension, he took to his social media to lament: "I know the ballot box won't be too tall for us to cast our votes too."
"Politics should deal with issues not attacking physical looks of people. It's an insult to me as a concerned short person.
#ShortPeopleHaveEyes
#ShortPeopleAreHuman
#ShortGuysDeserveRespect", he added.
The comedian, apparently has had to deal with the stigma associated with his being a short person too. This he reveals in his stage performances as he is always quick to address the stigma and unfair treatments meted out to people because of their physical challenges.

If you are really short and they call you, SHORTIE, is that an insult? And if you are tall and someone calls you TALLER, is that an insult? Your inferiourity complex is your own problem. Deal with it. SHORTINGO. YOU can go burn the sea if you not happy. Vote who ever you wanna vote. It wont make a difference.
But you can't see far. You need elevation to see what is going on far in the horizon.
Nana Addo is almost 72 and this guys are talking about posture. Why can't you reason for a while. Pray to attain that age and strong as he is. Many of his age group can't tour around as he has done. Though few may do more than he had done. The question is, can my own father do this or will i grow old and healthy as he is. He might have seen many things and new things are coming, can I get the opportunity like him to see good time ahead?
