Ghanaian actress-Lydia Forson seems to be tired of how bad a lot of Ghanaian men are–when it comes to the art of “wooing” a woman.
The outspoken actress has taken to Instagram, to share her thoughts on wooing in Ghana–saying, most Ghanaian men are losers when it comes to making a woman feel special.
She stated that: “A lot of Ghanaian men have much to learn in the art of “wooing” a woman.”
“Most don’t know how to take a girl on a date, and if they do it’s always “food”, which automatically translates to love, and once those words are spoken it’s enough foreplay to begin a sexual affair, first by attempting to shove those long tongues into your mouth and swirling it around,” she said.

That is why I'm dating an African American! They're interested in YOU! They have a conversation about everything under the sun so they can know YOU! They open doors (yes even the biggest thug!), they take you to the movies, a nice meal. And if they don't have the money they will rent a nice video and cook you dinner. They make you feel special. Ghanaman: one plate of fried rice and he thinks he can get under your skirt. Movies: he thinks he's there with you because it's dark and he can start kissing you and not because if the movie! And if you dare complain they get defensive and start insulting you like the 'gentlemen' on this platform. Some of the insults are: 1. My sister beautiful pass you! 2. You kuraa you look like maid! 3. If you don't 'comport' I can have anyone else! Etc etc! More fiya Lydia!
Funny how our women are defending Lydia. No problem about that but in relationship mind you girls it a two way affair, gone were the days where everything depends on the man. what wrong if Ghanaian women also propose to take the men out "just for once in their life time" at least it would bring their sense of treating women on a date. Or the ideology of it is a man's responsibility comes to play eh? try not to copy the lifestyle of others making them yours and when you copy, copy both sides as nothing stops the woman from making the same sacrifices as the man. Ghanaian women like to stay back and watch as the man takes charge of the whole relationship........ anything money is on the man, at the end he seems to have spent a fortune just in wooing a woman ....pls my sisters nothing in this world is FREE eh. What else do you want in a guy who takes you out and refuse to visit the restaurant, guess all your friends will hear of it the following day. in case the Councillor speaks about it, this same Lydia come out to say he's on drugs hahahaha Lydia grow up eh ...time waits for no man u'll not get it all right, sometimes u need to manage what you have and then others will follow..run fast and get your man... you are chasing time. Don't regret this at your old age soon cos no man is perfect (white/black)likewise a certain Lydia Forson. YOU ALWAYS WANTS TO BE IN NEWS WHY?
All of you guys insulting her...bow ur heads in shame. Instead of going to research n do ur homework well, you are here using bad words on her. She is absolutely ryt! Takin a woman out on a date doesn't enter her pants after, just bcos u bought her a plate of fried rice. There's a lot more u can do to make her feel safe n special. U guys insulting her tells me one thing: U HAVE ALL FAILED IN THAT AREA. Everyday we learn new things, so go n learn n stop whining.
Go away!!!! Your so called beauty is fake and not a Beyonce. Come as you are and stop this cacophony. You are at liberty to create your own man. We don't need any tutorials on dating a woman from you. Research on CONTI-DOME ALLIANCE where massive dating was practiced.
woman, just calm down and be married, your perceived beauty will soon run away from you when age takes the the lead. there is no perfect man or woman anywhere. you can as well create your own dream man if only you want one.
WHAT AT ALL IS THIS CALL GIRL LOOKING FOR? THIS FADING KUMAWOOD "***barred word***" IS REALLY DISTURBING OUR PEACE AND MUST BE ADVISED!!!!!
Sure you have tried Togolese, Nigerians, Gambians, whites, colored and all the other types of men so you really have practical experience on their strengths and weaknesses.
Another question begs to be asked..do Ghanaian women know how to treat men on dates?
Obaa tell them wai! All the boys schools do not teach our future men to be real men. I cry when I go on a date with most Ghanaian men. They are so B.U.S.H! Not sophisticated and many can be very very very Rude. Like asking a woman her age on the first date. Not opening doors or pulling out here seat for her at the table. Some men even order the meal you are to eat. Eish Ghana mothers and sisters teach your sons and brothers how to treat women oh!
men are the head respect them. don't go out with 'azar men' and u will see the difference.
