Ghana defender David Addy is making impressive progress in pre-season on his return to FC Porto.
The 22-year-old was part of 24 players who began training towards the start of the 2012/20013 season on Monday.
The former Randers FC player who was part of the victorious Ghana U-20 squad in 2009 was farmed out on his second loan stint to Greek club Panetolikos where he made 25 appearances scoring three goals from his left-back position.
His impressive spell in Greece has seen him recalled to the Porto first team for pre-season where he hopes to be making regular first team appearances.
Addy�s aspirations for the coming season has translated into his enhanced work ethics in training with the bunch on day two of their pre-season exercise and is already impressing coach Vitor Pereira.
The team will continue with their two training sessions daily before traveling to Switzerland on July 9 to intensify their preparations.
The Portuguese champions will play their first pre-season friendly against Newcastle on July 28 before facing Academica in the Portuguese Super Cup early next month.
