Ghana and Schalke midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has reacted to the Brazil 2014 World Cup draw which paired the Black Stars against Germany, USA, and Portugal in Group G.
The 26-year-old is happy that Ghana drew Germany, as it means he will get to play against his brother, Jerome Boateng. At the South African World Cup in 2010, the two brothers played against each other after Ghana and Germany were drawn in the same group. Germany ended up winning that match 1-0 courtesy of a well-taken strike by Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil.
"Brother it's time again...that's how beautiful life is!! Can't wait...love u bro!!!", Boateng tweeted immediately after the draw on Friday.
Prior to the draw, Boateng had repeated stated his desire to be paired against Germany to enable him face Jerome, who plies his trade with Bayern Munich.
Friday's draw was held in Bahia, Brazil.
