Medeama officials toured the Essipong Stadium on Tuesday to inspect facilities ahead of the commencement of their maiden African campaign.
The Mauves and Yellows will be making their debut appearance in this seasons CAF Confederations Cup.
Medeama intend using the Essipong Stadium in Sekondi - which was used as one of the venues for the 2008 Nations Cup as their home venue for their African Cup matches.
Officials of the club inspected facilities at the stadium to discover its condition before the arrival of the CAF inspection team.
CAF officials will be coming to inspect the stadium facilities and therefore it was only proper that we go first to check the place out, the clubs Administrative Secretary Ben Kessey told Metro FM.
We intend to use the Essipong Stadium for our Confederations Cup matches and so we have to ensure the facility is in good shape before the CAF inspection team arrive.
Medeama will face Equatorial Guinea club Panthers FC in their first preliminary qualification match of the Confederations Cup on the weekend of February 14-16, 2014.
