The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) will gather stakeholders at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra on Tuesday, to discuss the state of sports in the country and how to fashion out measures to develop the various sporting disciplines.
The event is to identify an alternative sources of sports financing in Ghana, and also encourage sporting associations to re-brand to attract sponsorship.
The Ministry has invited stakeholders including Chief Executives of Ghana�s Club 100 companies, oil marketing companies, telecommunication companies and heads of the Security Services Sports Association (SEESA) and among.
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga has called on corporate Ghana to invest in the activities of sports and sponsor the various sporting clubs to accomplish the task ahead.
