Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will be out of action for four months after undergoing knee surgery today.
This was revealed on the club�s official website, Tuesday.
The surgery is to clear up a knee problem, the club indicated adding, he will not return to the pitch for at least three months.
�Kwadwo Asamoah was in Barcelona [today] to undergo arthroscopic surgery designed to fix torn cartilage in his left knee.� Juventus confirmed.
�Operated on by Dr. [Ramon] Cugat and accompanied by club doctor [Andrea] Causarano, the Ghanaian is expected to return to competitive action within three to four months.�
Asamoah missed the Black Stars' double header against Uganda and Togo in the Afcon qualifier and is now set to miss next year's Nations Cup set for Equatorial Guinea.
