Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is likely to make his way out from the Veltins arena at the end of the season after he was put on the transfer list by German side Schalke O4.
Reports from Germany indicate that the 28-year-old together with teammates Sidney Sam and Felipe Santana will be released by the Club at the end of the season following their unimpressive performance for the Royal blues.
Boateng has been deemed substandard since the arrival of Coach Roberto Di Matteo at the Club.
The Ghanaian international has seen limited playing time this season in the Bundesliga making just 16 appearances for Schalke.
The firebrand midfielder has thus been put on the transfer list which could see him leaving the Club at the end of the season.
The former AC Milan star has only managed six goals in 44 appearances since joining the former German Champions two seasons ago.
