Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has disclosed how difficult it was for him to stay out of football action with an injury for so long.
Asamoah made his return in the Italian Serie A for Juventus against Bologna after staying out of football action for almost the entire of last season and the beginning of the current season.
In an interview with Sky, the Black Stars midfielder discussed how his family and team mates help him during those difficult moments.
Kwadwo Asamoah said:
“It was a difficult time for me, because it’s something that has never happened to me in my career. “It was hard to stay at home for so long, my family helped me a lot, and also my teammates were really helpful.
“All they told me when they saw me was good things. It’s not easy to be on the sidelines for so many months, so it’s been a difficult time for me.
