The veteran coach left Inter-Allies to join Hearts of Oak after helping the Club to sixth in the 2013/14 First Capital plus Premier League and also guided them to the 2014 MTN FA Cup finals where they lost to Asante Kotoko.
A statement released on the Clubs official website confirmed the second coming of the experienced tactician.
The Club announces the appointment of Herbert Addo as the new head coach.
Addo, an experienced trainer, has penned an initial two-year contract and with the option of a renewal.
He will be making a return to the side he left at the end of 2013/2014 season.
Addo took the club from relegation zone and led the Eleven Is To One to finish fourth and also reach the final of the MTN FA Cup that term.
We wish him a successful tenure.
Addo was sacked as head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak prior to the end of the 2014/15 season.
