Wa All Stars kept the chase on Hearts of Oak after recording a 1-0 win over Medeama in the Ghana Premier League outstanding fixture on Wednesday.
Coach Enos Adepa’s side grabbed maximum points at home to close the gap on Hearts of Oak, thanks to a 77th minute strike by Richard Arthur.
Medeama by the defeat to WA All Stars thus failed to pick a point in their three outstanding League games having lost to Aduana Stars and Techiman City respectively.
The Mauves are still sixth on the League table with 33 points.
WA All Stars on the other hand maintain their quest of clinching the League title as they moved to second on the log sheet with 38 points. 1 point adrift Hearts of Oak who are top of the table with 39 points.
