Ghana coach Avram Grant will recall suspended midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng into his squad ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Congo next year in what appears a panic reaction, Happy FM has reported.
The Israeli has come under mounting pressure to revive the side's dwindling fortunes after slipping to 2-0 defeat against Egypt on Sunday.
According to Happy FM presenter Jeffery Kwabena Sintim Koree 'Chaskele', the former Chelsea manager has told managers of the team he needs the Las Palmas ace in his squad ahead of the crucial tie against Congo next year.
The Black Stars find themselves in a tight corner and must now grind out results in the remaining four games and hope other results go their way to secure the sole ticket for the global showpiece.
The four-time Africans champions are third in group E, five points adrift of leaders Egypt and will now have to wait until next year before their ambition of qualifying to the World Cup will be settled.
Ghana play no-hopers Congo in a double header in August and September 2017 and six points are needed to give them any chance.
If Egypt win their own double header against Uganda then, it would realistically be immaterial what Ghana do, as even if they won both Congo matches they would be five points behind with two games to play.

Every day, the FA and Management team ask for apology from players. And they write letters to be readmitted into the team. Honestly, I think KP Boateng and Muntari had a case. KP Boateng retired after the 2010 World Cup because money he was supposed to receive legally was not paid to him. Where in the world do you go for a tournament and get your salaries delayed only to get under 30% of what you are supposed to receive by contract? Boateng had to speak up! Muntari has been ripped off for 17 years. From Under 17 to Brazil 2014. They have taken his salary over and over. It was time he spoke up and led a revolution. MY OPINION is that if Grant wants KP Boateng back, the President must form a committee to listen to the two players. After that, they must listen to the FA officials and the GFA must change for the better. From the days of ET Mensah, we heard rumors that players money they are to receive by contract never get to them. However, because everyone does not want to lose his career, we allow the leaders to get their way all the time. That is where all our problems lie. So let us hear from KP Boateng and Muntari and ask them why the behaved the way they behaved.
KP Boateng changes the team. It is just mysterious that our management got angry at him and sacked him from camp. Boateng is the best player Ghana has gotten. And I think Avram Grant must bring him back. If Ghana qualifies, they will find a way to talk to him to play at the World Cup. So they have to find a way to include him in the qualifiers.
Even dead horse Essien could have done better than afful. Instead going for the ball he went for the leg. You keep fielding braimah, a goalkeeper who could save one penalty kick during the Afcon 2016. He then went and miss the final kick too. Even dream fc Philemon McCarty is waaaaaaaaay better than him. You bench Adams and keep this flop in post.
Go away, we dont want any KP Boateng in our team. The Coach is just a lazy and use.less coach. No more co-efficient money sharing, period. Ghana will not qualify
THE PRESIDENT,MINISTER AND HIS INCOMPETENT GFA THOUGHT IT WAS EASY TO TRASH THE PHAROAHS WITH THESE FEEBLE CURRENT TEAM OF BLACK STARS, THOSE SAID GUYS SAID , WE WILL BEAT BLACK STAR AND INDEED THEY JUST DID THAT, ESSIEN IS THERE SULLEY IS ALSO THER KELVIN IS AROUND, LET US REMEMBER THE MATCH BETWEEN GHANA AND GERMANY, THAT MATCH WAS AJUDGED THE BEST MATCH DURING 2014 WORLD CUP AND DID WE FEATURE THESE GUYS, YES WE DID. TO ERR IS HUMAN AND TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE, LET BEHAVE WITH OUR HEAD AND NOT OUR STOMARCH
Massa Avaram ; please do not make me laugh besides do not delude yourself or have this mirage that Ghana going to the world ; Ghana is not going anywhere ; the Black Stars are uless ; they never win any cups abnd the country keeps on pouring money cash to these GREEDY players ; WE DO NOT NEED THEM and as that GFA Chairman Kwesi Nyatakyi ; I think that DONKEY should be kicked out because the man is too corrupr ; WHY DID YOU SDACK KWESI APPIAH FOR NO REASON but because of 'NOKOFIO' from Avram grany you have messed the Black Stars ; today it is ALL MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY ALL THE WAY BUT THEY DO NOT WIN ANYTHING NO CUPS BUT CASH ONLY !!!!!-EDIOTIC FULLS !!!!!!!: WHO DOES THID FULL KWESI NYAMTAKYI A FULL LIKE JON MAHAMA FROM THE NORTH THINK HE IS FULLING !!!!!!!!JUST FU>>>>>>>>OFF.
As players humble themselves, the state must also get humble and go for them. How can you have Sulley Muntari, Kevin Prince Boateng and came asking for forgiveness, expressing interest to play for Ghana and you reject them. What does Ghana want, victory or pride. How have other teams been managing players like Bawuah Balotelli? Get serious
There should be a radical changes to revamp the team.
Don't talk about Kwasi Appiah. he owns us an apology for benching senior players........ Right now Avram Grant needs K P Boateng, Sulley Muntari, Phil Ofosu Aryeh, the services of Schlupp, services of Agyemang Badu or bring Inaki Williams or some of the Ghanain Egyptian strikers like John Antwi, Nana Poku and others. Drop Jordan Ayew for the mean time. Drop Afful or shift him to no.3 Drop the goalkeeper.[there should radical changes.
Stop the Kwesi Appiah non$ense here. Kwesi Appiah during the last world cup qualification period had much better players. He had Asamoah Gyan (who was on top days), Kevin Boateng, Sule Muntari, Michael Essien, and so on. Even if you bring the best coach on earth with mediocrity players, you get nothing. We just not in the same form like before. It doesnt matter who the coach is.
