Workers of PW Construction firm who are currently working on the expansion of the tarmacs at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) have resorted to another demonstration over their wages.
The workers are asking for increase in their wages even though an earlier directive from government to pay them 10 percent more has been approved.
This is the second demonstration in about a week.
According to the workers, they are not satisfied with their working conditions and want befitting settlements before they resume work.
The development has resulted in the suspension of work at the airport.
Citi Business News reports that officials of PW Construction are currently locked up in a meeting to resolve the issue.
