A driver allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident was arrested after luck run out for him at Kasoa in the Central region.
He was said to have knocked down a pedestrian with a pick-up vehicle, and in an attempt to escape without stopping, he accelerated and scratched multiple vehicles before getting trapped in gridlock traffic at the Kasoa traffic light area.
Some police personnel who were managing traffic in the area were alerted and they pounced on him. He was handcuffed and later sent to the Kasoa police station and booked.
