Ghana's Vice President, H. E. Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, Tuesday returned home after attending the inauguration of Dr. Hassan Rouhani as President of Iran.
While in Tehran, Iran, the Ghanaian Vice President held a brief discussion with his counterpart Vice President of Iran, H. E. Eshaq Jahangiri. Their discussions centered on investment and closer collaboration between the two friendly nations.
Furthermore, Vice President Amissah-Arthur also met with the Iranian Speaker of Parliament Dr. Ali Larijani.
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest in the area of economy, as well as technical assistance in oil and gas production.
The Ghanaian Vice President encouraged Iranian investors to take advantage of the prevailing political stable environment in Ghana to do business in the country.
