A member of the NDC communication team, Eric Ametor Kwame wants striking workers who have called off their two-week-old industrial action to apologize to the entire nation.
Ametor described the workers strike as ill-fated and very repulsive which must be condemned by all after government had pleaded with them to call off their action weeks back.
According to him, the workers must not be commended for calling off their strike unless they compensate Ghanaians for their action which slowed productivity in the country.
Calling off their strike is nothingthey [workers] must compensate Ghanaians for their strike action, he said on Asempa FM
Government last Friday after government secured a court order directing the workers to call off the strike.
At a press conference on Tuesday, the workers announced that they will respect the court's directive albeit for just one week.
