The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has served notice it is not recruiting and has warned the public to be chary of miscreants who are duping people on a promise of providing them with jobs at the Board.
“Before NACOB embarks on any recruitment exercise there will be at least two newspaper advertisements by NACOB,” a statement signed by the Executive Secretary of NACOB Yaw Akrasi-Sarpong said.
He stated that the Board is aware of some “unscrupulous people with criminal intent” who are going around promising to offer people jobs at the Board.
“The public is advised to report any person(s) who purports to act as agent of NACOB for the purpose of any recruitment into the employ of NACOB to the nearest Police Station or to the headquarters of NACOB.”
