Well, that is how the ASANTES do their thing from the inception of their Kingdom.A people's culture and customs must never be thrown away for someone's culture What happened was beautiful and people who believe in themselves would love it. The Jews and others do the same and their strength comes from that commitment to uphold their identity.
i love and respect tradition. big up ASANTIMAN but my question is will u respect the people of GREATER ACCRA {GA} WHEN IT COMES TO THEIR TRADITION ESPECIALLY THE ISSUE ON NOICE MAKING.
BECAUSE YOU DEATH!
they said shops shd be closed cool with that but my question is if shops are closed everywhere or it was some part of Kumasi if not then why are ppl going to and fro or they are visiting relatives instead aaaah may bi
Was Jesus an Asante? Or - better still, was he a King? You can decide to throw your dead chief into a public drain - no one cares.
What's your point? Who's responsibility is it to make the country's streets "better"? ..and what do you even mean by "better"? How different are the streets in Kumasi from the other streets in Ghana or from the streets in your home region (where ever that is)?
Why are some ***barred word*** of others? To me it is unnecessary. Kofi and @@Kofi know that Ghana first. I am not an Ashanti but I respect and accord they way they dignify their Sub-Chiefs, Paramount Chiefs and more especially the King of Asanti, Otumfoo. Infact, I am indeed proud to be an Ghanaian.Tradition is Tradition. I was so amazed to see Christians, Islam/Moslems, Traditionalists and other religious believes were gathered in their numbers to mourn and sypathised with the ONLY King of Ghana apart.Again, I am not an Asanti but respect and accord their their tradition and culture. (Amanee and Amamere at it best. Hope all the Paramount Chiefs and Sub-Chief will emulate the great King and also to other tribes to learn to respect and accord and dignify our sub-chiefs and paramount chiefs. I am so grateful. God bless us all
The city is metro but the old lady should rest in peace.
When your fish get spoilt keep it in your house for the rest of your life. Outdated culture and tradition.
Go and throw you stu**d mother and father's corpse away. It's so easy to see people from a messed up background just by the comments they post. No child from responsible parents and background will make such a dispecable statement.
