Some parts of Accra have been flooded following early Friday morning heavy downpour in the metropolis.
The streets of Accra central, Dzorwulu, Kaneshie, Circle, Mallam, Taifa, Pokuase among others, have been flooded.
This has left travelers in heavy traffic on the Tetteh Quashie-Tema end of the Motorway, as well as Nugua to Accra central road.
Motorists have been advised to be cautious and adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Meanwhile, reports coming in from several parts of the country indicate many intersections in the major cities have been flooded and motorists are finding it difficult to use them.
From the capital of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi, reports say people have either climbed to the top of their buildings or moved to higher grounds for safety as their homes have been flooded.

Hmmmmmmmm,flood in Kumasi? Hahahhahahaha. Whoever gave the permission and the Engineer who approved the construction of stores on the drain at Railways are the most ***barred word*** people i have ever seen.Greed,***barred word*** and foolishness is the cause of this. where on earth can you build on a drainage which is the main passage of water? Except Amma Ghana. Kumasi people, we have not seen anything yet.The day that it will get choked that is when we will see our smoothness level.All those stores must be destroyed to make way for the clearing of drainage.
