Some members of a vigilante group, the Kandahar Boys Monday morning chased out the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), Dr David Zaawumya Kolbila.
The group, said to be affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is accusing Dr Kolbila of incompetence.
They (Kandahar boys) have also accused the CEO of misappropriating the hospital's funds.
The group having chased Dr Kolbila out placed his office under locks.
Dr Kolbila took over as Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Teaching Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2017, from Dr Prosper Akanbong.
The Kandahar Boys are one of the known vigilante groups in the Tamale metropolis with their base at Aboabo, one of the suburbs.
