The Minister for Railways Development, Hon. Joe Ghartey, on Wednesday January 2, 2019 paid a working visit to Essikado to inspect an ongoing project - training school and workshops.
The hardworking minster was accompanied by the Managing Director and staff of Ghana Railway Company Limited during the inspection.
The purpose of the site visit was to enable the minster familiarize himself with the progress of works and to also enhance efforts to address any issues or challenges that were likely to impact negatively on the achievement of the objectives for which the project is being carried out.
“The progress of work was satisfactory. Because of additional works that have been given to the contractor the project will be completed according to the contractors and GRCL in March this year” he told peacefmonline.com in an interview
