Residents of Techimantia in Tano South municipality of the Ahafo Region are lamenting over poor roads between Bechem and Akomadan.
According to them, the roads are their only means of commuting between the two areas.
A resident speaking to Peace FM's correspondent, Kwabena Manu, narrated that the road which was awarded by the erstwhile Mills government has since been abandoned.
They also stated that since their major occupation is farming, they always find it difficult to convey their farm produce to the market centres.
They are therefore appealing to the government to to continue the construction of proper road network for the areas.

Techimantia with a population >30,000 has been neglected by previous and current presidents of our dear nation. It's time the people should sit up and look for a better alternative.
