UTV’s morning show host, Lawyer Tweneboah Koduah, has asked political parties to stop dictating to Producers in charge of political programmes at various media houses, especially panel discussion shows, on who should be invited as guests and who should not be invited since it disrupts their line of duty.
“Leaders of political parties especially the two biggest political parties [NDC and NPP] should desist from wanting to dictate to producers of programmes, persons that can represent their parties,” he said.
According to him, show Producers must be allowed to make choices themselves because the choice of panelists on a particular day are usually made based on the recent issues at hand to be discussed.
“This kind of attitude cannot be entertained, we want to do a quality and professional job,” he said.

It can only happen when the media personnel distance themselves from politics. They are supposed to be non partisan
Now when the editors and their anchors stop taking money from the politicians, they will be independent. We know how any political show will go and it seems Tweneboah Kodua realises they are losing credibility, therefore, the need to come out with this. As @Patopa stated, when did you realise this?
thanks Kofi for your response
YOU MEAN NPP SHOULD STOP DICTATING TO PEACE FM??
Well said bro, but will like to find out from you when did you realise this? Hmmm
I think you are right but how sure are we that the TECHNICAL PEOPLE will not be talking for their political interests too.?
I think that your call is wrong. Your station and the entire media is the ones promoting this agenda. Why do we need to have poiticians on your programmes. Are there not qualified people to be invited apart from these ones who only come to promote the agenda of their parties. We are tired on them and you as well. You do this nation no good with this. Stop inviting them and you will see how the political temperature of the nation will change. Invited technical people to speak.
