THERE MUST BE PERMANENT OFFICES ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS REGISTRATION. CHILDREN BORN IN GHANA WHO REGISTER WITH THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WITHIN A CERTAIN PERIOD, SAY 10 DAYS, MUST ATTRACT NO OR MINIMUM FEE. LATTER REGISTRATION MUST ATTRACT HIGHER FEES. THE OLDER A PERSON BECOME TO REGISTER THE HIGHER THE COST FOR THE FEE. WHEN PROPERLY MANAGED, THERE WILL BE NO NEED FOR NATIONAL CENSUSES, NOR ANOTHER CARD TO CAST A VOTE AS ADULT CITIZENS OF GHANA. IT MUST BE CONNECTED TO ECOWAS CARD IN SUCH A WAY THAT A CITIZEN OF GHANA IS NOT A CITIZEN FROM ANOTHER ECOWAS STATE.
Thank you Prof.for the good works,I would like to suggest as a digital address is also needed for the card, the commissioner of oath should be given a mobile phone with GPS app on to generate some for those who are not computer literate as the people may not leave far from the registration point.
