The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Joseph Kobina Ade Coker says there is an extreme scarcity of food across the country.
According to him, bad governance has resulted in famine throughout regions in the country.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show, 'Ghana Montie', Mr Ade Coker maintained that the supposed government's promise of Planting for Food and Jobs programme has failed.
He said the programme was just a 'campaign slogan' and not feasible under the Nana Addo-led government.
“There is a food shortage but they won’t accept that. There is no bumper harvesting. We are in crisis,” he claimed.

111diot, whrere is the food shortage? impotent b.us.tard alarmist. What do you seek to achieve with this? And these st.u.p.i.d Peace FM editors will allow this to be broadcasted.
Where from this 419 Nigerian man talking about? Alarmist. If you want to know what food shortage means go to Sudan. These NDC people have nothing serious to talk about.
The two leaders( Asiedu and Ampofo) lack the competence and intellect to transform the NDC into a viable democratic party. The current deviating and irresponsible stand of the NDC towards the practice of democracy has been exacerbated by the current leadership of the party, so it has to be changed. Traditionally, the NDC is militant and has ostensibly turned democratic to maintain political power. The opposition party should, as a necessity, present the best alternative policies and programs to solve problems and challenges because it has to challenge the ruling government and the electorate that it's indeed the better government in opposition to bring the nation forward. In this regard, the NDC as an opposition party has failed the citizens miserably with its sabotaging and diabolic attitude. For Ghana to successfully transition from a colonial economic order to a true independent economic entity beyond aid, it needs a strong, competent, responsible, and democratic opposition party. Take it from me here, the NPPshall break the 8 come 2024 elections.
You and your party are in crisis. Where are the food shortages, is it at Ayalolo or Bukom? Wake up from your slumber and do clean politics.
I am inclined to believe this man is out of his senses or just arrived from the outer space. Where are the food shortages, cheap propaganda will not earn your party votes. Your party is the alternative to the government, bring your programs and policies for us to assess them. If there is food shortage then go back to your natives country Nigeria stay there when we get bumper harvest you come back. If you want people to take you serious then desist from this infantile politics.
Like seriously? What does Ade Coker hope to achieve with this blatant propagandist agenda? Yes political capitalization is inevitable but can you not to sincere even to your own conscience? Very pathetic. Even in Accra yam is all over..
