FALSE CLAIM OF TOYOTA HIACE AMBULANCE BELONGING TO THE GOVERNMENT OF GHANA ON SALE IN DUBAI
It has come to the attention of the National Ambulance Service, a viral video circulating on social media, of an ambulance in Dubai belonging to the Government of Ghana, which is purported to being sold in that country.
We wish to state that;
The ambulance in question is one of the 26 Toyota Hiace Ambulances being procured by the Government, through the Ministry of Health and being funded by the World Bank.
The said ambulance is found on the premises of the Company, which is manufacturing the ambulances.
It is therefore not true that the ambulance is there for sale.
The manufacturing processes are over and very soon the ambulances will be shipped into Ghana.
We therefore entreat the general public to disregard the video in circulation and commentary made by the person who made the video.

BENZ, not VW
please the ambulance on top of this story is a VW. The ambulance i saw in social media is a Toyota. if that particular Toyota ambulance was parked inside the manufacturer's garage inside like the ambulance shown on top of this story nobody would have doubted the press release issued by the national ambulance service. Unfortunately, the ambulance shown on social media was parked in the open together with other cars for sale. this is where people have a problem. As to how this particular NPP government continuously supply its opponents with 'ammunition' to fire is mind boggling, as if to say after the exit of this particular NPP they care less if the NPP ceases to exist. But for impunity, what prevented who so ever is involved from removing all those inscriptions on the ambulance linking it to the government of Ghana. One ambulance out of 26 standing outside alone? The national ambulance press release is not convincing enough. They should come back with further and better particulars.
@Sor Kontoh, reason up and do not let politics blind you. Do you think Dubai government will come and buy second hand ambulance from Ghana?
This a false statement. I have two questions. First was the place the guys saw the car a manufacturing site? Secondly, was the car branded in Fjana or Dubai?
