President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has sent his warm wishes to all Ghanaians for a happy Easter celebration.
On behalf of my beautiful wife, Rebecca, my children and family, and on behalf of Government, I wish all Ghanaians a Happy Easter with the hope that the blood spilled on the cross will heal our land, and cleanse us of our iniquities" he said.
He has also stressed the importance of safety during this festive period, urging everyone to drive carefully on the roads and to keep the nation in their prayers at all times.
"In this season, let us drive carefully on the roads, and keep the nation in our prayers at all times. So let us, again, enjoy our Easter Conventions, parties and picnics and the traditional Kwahu Easter festivities.
May the celebration of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ give birth to a new season of faith, hope, growth, prosperity, reconciliation and sacrifice for everybody in our beloved country and in the world" he added.

May your ardent believe in Christ Jesus, His death and resurrection cause you to boldly ignore the irresponsible people around you and declare your abhorrence to LGBTQ. You should therefore immediately admit the bill and sign it. This will prevent the destruction of our youth to LGBTQ.
@GhanaAboveAnyone amen and amen. May you live long to see the fruits of your labor. Live long to see your great grandchildren saying, " thank you grandpa for the beautiful country Gh you've build because you spoke the truth". The almighty blesses all patriots of our motherland; GHANA Goodnight and happy safe Easter celebration
@alonso and @@anewghana will live long and see their generations flourish in Jesus' Name for speaking the truth and calling a corrupt president out. Like prophet Nathan who called out King David when he went wrong, they called out a president who is corrupt and hishonest. As for that traitorr @ekow who worships corrupt politicians and attack people who speak truth to power, may your days be short for he is a nation-wrecker!
@Ekow, good life is not measured by old age but by the positive impact you have on society. Nkrumah died at age 63, addo is 80 plus....so per your argument that weasel nation wrecker needs to be lauded because of his age? I'm NOT foot-solder, I'm a true patriotic Ghanaian, I say and express my views without any reservation. THINK Ekow, we've a country to build not a fuking political party (npp or ndc). This isn't about them but GHANA; MY HOME!!!!!!!!
@Ekow, I hope you have never taken part in the NPP's vicious insults and name calling on President Mahama and I hope you have been advising them against same also, otherwise you'll face more than you are wishing for the commenters here. Whiles we appreciate the president acknowledging what our saviour Jesus Christ has done for us, he should equally discharge the expectations of Christ for the people, it's the wishes of Christ that he the president serves his people selflessly and incorruptibly and to help the society to live in a sane manner, hence the need for him to sign the family values bill urgently.
U are deliberately and intentionally put our monies in your bank account and u expect God to cleans your….now u have turn Ekow or maybe u sent Ekow to come and threaten the youth with karma of insults….your time is right in the corner waiting for u your Arrogant short self
@ekow, people like you are the reason Ghana continues to have the kind of leader we have. The two commentators said nothing that is not true. Are you really proud of the way Ghana has been governed in the past 7 years? We understand your calling as a foot-soldier who sees no wrong, hears no wrong as long as your government is in power but the country is in a mess and it was this current president who supervised this mess. Corruption, total lack of respect for state institutions and separation of powers guaranteed under our constitution are the major characterization of this government. Journalist tortured and some even murdered, vindictiveness and political witch-hunting where businesses perceived to be owned by non-NPP aligned people are razed down without recourse to law are just some of the highlights of his presidency and indeed his conscience(if he still has any) needs healing. Wasting our hard-earned money on a uzless Cathedral project which was doomed to fail from the get go because God does not dwell in a house built on lies!
I am quite sure these two who have commented are young people. Be rest assured that you are going to get back the insults you spewed on the president a hundred-fold. Just pray that you can get to 50 years. The president is 80 years, he looks healthy and fresh. What about you? You may not like him, but he is still the president. So shall he be until 6th January 2025. The president has given a hopeful Easter message. Ghanaians who want the best for the nation will hold onto the message and act. Thank you, Mr. President.
blasphemous ediot! don't drag Christ into your corrupt mess. He has nothing to do with this
The blood of our savior is not meant to fix the economy or your corrupt practices. SHUT THE FUKKKKK UP AND FIX THE ECONOMY AND DUMSOR, YOU LITTLE PRICK!!!!!!!
