Realising the impact of dams in the quest to boost Agriculture activities in the area, the Saboba District Assembly has constructed a dam for farmers at Kpegu.

This would ostensibly assist the farmers to improve on their animal and crop production, since the development will always ensure the availability of water for use in various farms in the community all year round.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com in an interview to discuss the spate of developments so far under the Better Ghana agenda, the District Chief Executive for the area, Ali Adolf G. John noted that the Assembly has endeavoured to promote massive development in all sectors of the economy.

He for instance mentioned that under the Northern Region Small Town Water System, two selected communities of the district have duly benefited from mechanized boreholes each to facilitate the accessibility of potable water in these communities.

The beneficiary communities were Wapuli and Sambuli, all in the Saboba district.

He also highlighted the rehabilitation of the Saboba water system, which he noted that it was a step by the Assembly to improve the water situation to meet the increasing demands of inhabitants with regards to potable water for people.
