The Greater Accra branch of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) has threatened to lay down its tools from 17th October 2011 if their two months salary arrears are not paid to them by 15th October 2011.
This is contained in a press statement signed by Mr. Patrick Agboyibor - the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of NAGRAT. According to the statement it was agreed at a meting between the National Labour Commission, NAGRAT, the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) and the GES on Wednesday 28 September 2011 that the 2 months salary arrears of members of NAGRAT should be paid to them by 15th October 2011.
However according to NAGRAT there is no assurance that the two months arrears would be paid by 15th October 2011.
