Sunday evening's rains left portions of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle flooded.
Passengers were compelled to alight from their vehicles and walk through the water, while other vehicles were forced to change their routes.
The Odaw river was overflowing as a result of the heavy rains, while parts of Las Palmas restaurant were partially submerged with water.

Oh, Timbuktu, why?
Waste of Tax payers money. Poor work done, 1rres$ponsible and ind!$ciplined citizens who continuously turn the Odaw river into refuse dump, when it rains it overflows its banks. 1mp0tent and u$£less AMA and worse of them all wasteful and ***barred word*** John Mahama who happily list the monstrosity called "Dubai" as a prime achievement. And the least said about civil engineers in Accra the better.
Dubai flooded again? Mahama and his brother Ibrahim did not do a good job.
Do we have civil engineers in Ghana? 62 years after independence?
2 things comes to mind, either Mahama did not do this thing well or the current government has failed to maintain the place. Both of the presidents should be made to go and bath in it
