Audio Attachment:Listen to Jerry Rawlings answering TV3's Henry Herbert Malm's question. |
Ex-President Jerry Rawlings for once seemed to have forgotten who the current President of the Republic of Ghana and the man he ushered into political limelight at the infamous Swedru Declaration was, when he answered in response to a question posed by a journalist in Sunyani, John Mills, who is John Mills?"
It all began when TV3s Henry Herbert Malm took advantage of the First Break during the NDCs Sunyani Congress and sought to find out from Mr Rawlings whether he continues to offer his former Vice President pieces of advice.
A clearly bemused Jerry Rawlings who seemed to have suddenly developed temporal amnesia when he rhetorically asked the journalist who he was referring to.
The incident appeared funny to viewers at home and observers at the congress grounds since the former President knew exactly who, the TV3 ace broadcaster was referring to.
John Mills, who is John Mills....?ooh sorry sorry Atta, President Atta Mills.yes of course he is called John(laughs).
I always give it (advice) but he hardly takes them, yes he hardly takes them (advice), he concluded.
