The Appointments Committee of Parliament will start sitting from Wednesday to vet deputy ministers who have been nominated by the President, John Mahama.
They include Samson Ahi for Work and Housing, Victoria Hamah, Communcation, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, Education and Benita Okiti-Duah, Gender, Children and Social protection. It is not clear whether the minority members of the committee will be part of the public hearing.
Though the House is on recess the committee decided to sit to finish up with the remaining nominees to completement the work of the substantive ministers to enhance the works of government machinery.
