The UK Branch of NPP, wishes to congratulate Hon. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on his overwhelming victory in the flag-bearer elections held across Ghana on Saturday. The Party has spoken and has done so convincingly. By this victory, the Party has unambiguously demonstrated a significant mandate to Nana Addo.
The results show that the Party is strongly united behind Nana Addo. With this, the task of working to rescue Ghanaians from the incompetent NDC administration has started in ernest. We urge all Party members to work tirelessly to translate this mandate to victory in the 2016 elections.
We also wish to congratulate Mr. Alan Kyerematen and Mr. Addai Nimoh for their sportsmanship throughout the contest. We have no doubt the party can count on their knowledge and experience going forward.
We further congratulate the leadership of the Party, the national election committee and the delegates for such a successful and peaceful election. The NPP has a lot to be proud of and be thankful for. Our credentials as the party that is founded and lives on democratic principles was put to the test and once again we have excelled.
The internal process is now over and all true and well meaning NPP supporters should from today get together as one Osono family and work together to achieve the change of regime and transformation this country is crying for in 2016. NPP UK Branch, hereby pledge our collective and unalloyed support and backing for our elected
flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
The Osono is ready to return to power with Nana providing transformational leadership.
