Acting General Secretary and National Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has criticized the Electoral Commission of Ghana for not doing enough sensitization on the ongoing voter registration exercise.
Speaking on Atinka AM Drive with Kwame Adinkra Thursday, Mr. John Boadu noted that publicity on the registration was too low and that the EC was focusing on rebranding and other needless activities instead of spending time to sensitize the public on the exercise.
“Whether it was a deliberate or not , what I know is that the EC did not do a good job this time around, ” he said.
He argued that due to the shoddy work by the EC on publicity, the ongoing exercise will record low turnout .
