The Vice President Kwesi Amissah Arthur, has stated that government has increased enrollment in nursing training colleges to 10,000 as a result of the withdrawal of nursing training allowances.
He made the above statement at the Saviour Nursing Training College when he addressed the students of the institution on Saturday morning.
He said as a result of this, the grades of student nurses, has been moved from level 5 to level 8; adding that government would use the savings into infrastructure expansion in the training colleges.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur also thanked Opanyin Abraham Adusei and the Saviour Church of Ghana for contributing meaningfully to the development of Ghana.
He said the NDC will continue to tell Ghanaians the good work of President Mahama and the need for them to renew his mandate for another four years.
Member of the Council of State, Opanyin Abraham, thanked the NDC government for providing the church with a Senior High School, hospital and other infrastructure thereby assisting the Osiem community greatly.
He said the unprecedented achievement of the NDC government is there for all to see and as a result, the church will continue to support the NDC government to spread development to all.

There are alot of nursing trained graduates without jobs, this man is still talking about enrolment, his head needs to be examined! Recently he has been talking alot. Ok let him just do the gapoha test!
So do these NDC's still talk about the system in Ghana here. What always come into power to deplete the education system in Ghana. You see even how the people in the image are looking ta you.I know they could have even beat this man up hadn't be for the sake of the camera
If it were this kind of half baked trainees then we are all nurses.... MAssa u opn schools like space-to=space kiosk and u praise ursef dont blame u, its those who will suffer at the hands of such under trained people that i cry for 10,000 Tweaaaaa
Like your leader Mahama, you should be ashamed of yourself. What's the use of enrolling everybody (even NDC crooks without qualifications) at these Nursing Training Colleges and instead of employing them at the various government hospitals and clinics they end up becoming armed robbers for lack of jobs?
L.i.a.r. You lowered the pass mark for more people to enroll, that's all. And you've done the same for the universities, polytechnic sand SHSs, only so that you can tell us that cock and bull story that you've improved education. You haven't.
U expand and fail to realize they will be employed? They come out and you can't post them?
Do schools in Ghana still write in chalks ? OH wow we are late in development as a nation.damn too late. On to the vice president. Does enrolment creates employment? bond3..woti ewu paa
Oh yes! The nursing and teacher trainees will equally increase Ghana's fortunes in December 7th by "withdrawing" the lazy incompetent Amissah-Arthur and his corrupt, bribe taking boss. Ghanaians will invest the savings made after their exit to provide chalk for our basic schools and provide water to the people of Bole so that they'll stop drinking from dirty ponds with cattle.
